It’s wrong, right, what youngers do, daynight.
But, when I was then, I did so too.

Stupid, now, I was.
Elastic stretches less the more it’s overused.
There was once an excellent photograph interpretation of an earlier version of this poem by Lee Appleton, but it’s vanished from the net. Pity.
