I had a blow–out on the A1(M) motorway last Tuesday, and my CX Turbo–1 performed well. I heard a bang from the front left of the car, but don’t remember feeling much on the steering wheel (I was too busy jumping at the time).
I stopped in the hard shoulder, got out, and had a look, to discover seriously shredded tyre. God knows what caused it—has anyone else had any problems recently with Michelin 210/55 tyres?
Its good to know all these legendary stories about how the car can handle such events turn out to be thoroughly true. It’s a pity the tyres are so expensive, though.
