angst cycle (iii) — [ư] (ii)

with a long–overdue decision
i had some teeth removed
the gum was an ache for go

now there’s an analogy of course
with a long–difficult decision
i shall have some grief removed

it will be like the sun drinking rain
a great deal of steam then
there will be no water

a thirsty man and i shall be thirsty
shall merely find another ocean
on another side of the attic

it shall be like the sun drinking rain
it shall be like the air drinking hope
it shall be like sleep drinking all the futures

so i have to find another ocean
this time i shall allow wilde and effort
it is difficult to yield to temptation

as it was difficult to face the drill
as it was difficult to steam the sun
as it was difficult to breathe
