the white stuff
up above

layer of splotch
upon layer
the floor
after the ceiling
has been painted
by professional
three–year olds

the dog
has rolled around
while the paint
mess
was still wet
and
was put down
by the vet
for a terrible
disease

the cat
took one look
at the colour scheme
and emigrated
to mars

the world
is spherical
more
than a billiard ball
and this one floor
is the one mar
visible
from space

it protects
the earth
from cosmic
billiards

the mar
would ruin
the cosmic
billiard table

the cat
what a bad
bad
choice

mars
was played
instead
